(CNN) — A 6.0 bulk trembler shook northern Thailand on Monday evening, a U.S. Geological Survey said.
The earthquake happened during 6:08 p.m. (7:08 a.m. ET), centered about 6 miles south of Mae Lao during a abyss of 4.6 miles.
It was centered about 30 miles southeast of Thailand’s limit with Myanmar and about 60 miles west of Thailand’s limit with Laos.
